VS Questions

1. My previous computer experience is pretty basic, mostly what I learned in high school.  I haven't had a class before that focused on programs on the computer. This includes Word, some Photoshop, some adobe.

2. I hope to obtain a more rounded knowledge of computer programs and editing on the computer. I think that this will be an advantage for my future career path.

3. Since I am not a Visual Studies student, but an Art Education student, I am not exactly sure what the major Visual Studies entails. However, I think that having knowledge about computers will help in the Visual Studies field, as it is a broader field of art. Because of my Education degree, having some computer background will be helpful as technology is always changing and it also changes the way that students learn and are taught.

4. I have a twin brother who is pursuing a degree in computer programing.

5. In the Fall of my senior year of high school, I had only applied to Temple University. However, Temple wasn't even one of my top choices. Then in March, I came here to visit it with a friend and wondered why I hadn't applied to Tyler. It was obviously late in the year but I still applied and got accepted. I am also rooming with the friend that I visited Temple with. However, I am still deciding if I want to pursue an Art Education degree or solely an Education degree.
